Capital Campaign

The year 2026 marks a historic anniversary for Lewis Library, as we celebrate 160 years since our establishment in 1866! This celebration is unique, as we also launch a capital campaign to complete the restoration of the south facing grand staircase, improve access for patrons with mobility issues and enhance the use of technology for broader patron access to reading materials. We are not only celebrating our history but investing in our future.
