Lewis Library Book Club Forming

Lewis Library book club is now forming. A planning meeting for the formation of a book club was held August 21, 2024. After some discussion it was decided to keep the format simple.

The Lewis Library Book Club will meet on the third Wednesday of the month from 6 to 7 pm at the library.

We agreed to try several different formats. For the first meeting on September 18, we will each read a different book of our choosing. Then at the meeting we will share a summary of our book without giving details of the ending.

At the September 18 meeting the first “group” book will be handed out. Therefore, the format of the October meeting will be a group discussion of that book.

Everyone is welcome to join us for the September 18 meeting. However, to ensure that we have enough books available for everyone, please call the library at 660-338-2395 if you plan to join us.
